Please take the time to stroll through our pages and see what we are all about and join us in having a great time with our Mules and Donkeys! The Gulf Coast Donkey and Mule ASSociation is dedicated to the education, growth, research, health, breeding and eventing of donkeys and mules of all sizes. We hope that you will contact us if you have questions or need information on our club activities. GCDMA began in 1981 with the purpose of first locating the people in our Gulf Coast area with donkeys and mules, and then organizing to form a group to:

1) Plan activities for the use of our donkeys and mules
2) Discuss training techniques and problems
3) Locate sources of equipment
4) Educate people regarding the history and value of the donkey and mule and to promote them
5) Become an information source for those needing to ask questions regarding donkeys and mules for sale, jacks available for breeding, etc.

Visitors and Prospective New Members are always welcome at our meetings which are held quarterly. Times and dates are available here on our calendar page. Membership is $15 annually, individual or family, with renewal due January 1st of each year.  (A family membership constitutes all people living together in one household). As a member you will receive the following:

1) Copy of quarterly newsletter
2) Current Texas Rule Book
3) Notice of shows and area activities
4) Show and Point Results
5) Training, Health, and History information (as available)
6) Copy of current membership directory
7) Be eligible to participate in our scholarship program
